Over 1,300 People Arrested In A Single Day — All Had 1 Thing In Common

ICE agents aid in the arrest of 1,300+ accused gang members during a major recent sweep.

On Thursday, May 11, more than 1,300 people were arrested in cities all across the United States in what has been lauded as the largest law enforcement operation of its kind. Each of the criminals taken into custody had one thing in common.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted their largest anti-gang operation ever yesterday, arresting a staggering 1,368 people for gang-related activity. Of those arrested, 445 were foreign nationals.

Multiple cities nationwide were affected by the gang operation.

Houston, New York, Atlanta, and Newark, New Jersey were among the hardest hit areas, and among those arrested were three of Barack Obama’s ‘dreamers’ protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. [Source: Townhall]

Criminal violations or being deemed a public safety threat can void a person’s DACA status. Ten of the arrests were individuals who crossed the border as unaccompanied minors, eight of whom were confirmed to belong to the MS-13 gang, a group Trump has labeled public enemy number one.

“MS-13, you know about MS-13?” Trump said in his recent speech before the National Rifle Association. “It’s not pleasant for them anymore. That’s a bad group. Not pleasant for MS-13 — get them the hell out of here, right? Get them out.”

Attorney General Jeff Sessions echoed the same sentiment during a speech in Long Island, saying, “We cannot continue with this transporting across our border, illegal immigrants who have not been properly vetted and actually are part of criminal organizations. The MS-13 motto is ‘kill, rape, and control.’ … That should tell us enough about the kind of group that we confront.”

President Donald Trump has vowed to make America safe again, and he has put the correct people in place to do so. There simply is no sense in giving deference to violent gang members who are in our country illegally, as Barack Obama did for eight years.

Thanks to the policies of Obama, which included allowing criminal illegals to roam free, all the while murdering and raping U.S. citizens, American families were treated to a brutal reality check regarding the consequences of liberal leadership. President Trump has promised the families who lost loved ones to illegal violence that he will usher in a new era of law and order in the United States, and he is making good on his word.
