Ivanka Trump, one of her father President-elect Donald Trump’s most effective surrogates, is planning on moving her family to Washington, D.C. next year.
Ivanka and her husband are planning to leave their New York City residence to be closer to her father when he takes office in January,
News of Ivanka’s family’s move to D.C. comes after sources revealed that Ivanka “wants to make climate change – which her father called a hoax perpetuated by the Chinese – one of her signature issues.”
From The Daily Caller:
Meanwhile, Melania Trump and her youngest son, Barron, will continue living in Trump Tower in New York until the end of the school year, Donald Trump confirmed to reporters in November.
“The Trump family is energized and excited about their new role serving the country, and specifically the President-elect’s task at hand of helping to move our country forward,” spokesman Jason Miller previously said in a statement.
“No official statement has been released by the Trump family regarding transition timing, but like any parents they are concerned about pulling their 10-year-old son out of school in the middle of the year. We would also appreciate the same privacy and security considerations given to previous First Families with regard to minor children be extended to the Trumps as well.”
